Founded in 2000, Truking Technology Limited has become one of the major pharmaceutical equipment suppliers in the world. The company specializes in pharmaceutical equipment and the corresponding integrated solutions, and takes the initiative to push forward the R&D of smart pharmaceutical factory.

It is a listed A-share company with multiple wholly-owned or controlling subsidiaries, namely the Germany-based Romaco Group, Truking Watertown, Sichuan Pharmaceutical Degisn Institute, Truking Feiyun, Truking Ingenuity Biotechnology, Truking Wachine, Truking Intelligent Robot, Truking Micno, Truking Gene, Truking SUT, Truking Changxin, Truking Scientific Instrument and Truking Pitide, etc.

The company has over 9000 employees worldwide, a total asset of RMB 6.9 billion and annual output value of RMB 8 billion.TRUKING has two operation headquarters respectively in Changsha, China and Germany; 4 big research institutes, namely Changsha Central Technology Research Institute, Europe Technology Research Institute, Sichuan Pharmaceutical Design Institute, and Suzhou Technology Research Institute.

Truking has established National Enterprise Technology Center, National Innovation Center, Post-Doctoral Research Center, Academician Expert Workstation and many more technology and innovation platforms.

To better respond to the needs of global customers,Truking has been setting up sales and service centers in many countries including India, Italy, Greece, Russia, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Egypt, Bangladesh, Korea, Vietnam and Thailand, etc.

By January 31, 2024, Truking has submitted 5,519 patent applications, and been granted with 3,112 patents.

Beyond China, Truking has applied for 55 PCT international patents and been granted 27 patents in the USA, Russia, India, Korea, Germany, Indonesia, and many more European countries. Truking also took the lead in formulating 17 national industrial product technical standards. Our products have been exported to more than 40 countries and regions in Asia, Europe, and South America.

The international market share is increasing rapidly each year. While adhering to the established business areas, Truking will also march into the field of high-end medical equipment and medical robots, promoting the development of medical equipment and medical devices for the big health business.   • 2000

    Starting as Changsha Packaging Machinery Co., LTD., TRUKING was born humble in a cowshed but managed to grow step by step into a global leader in the industry. 

  • 2001

    After signing a formal agreement to eliminate nepotism employment among senior executives and shareholders systematically, TRUKING launched its All Corners Around the World talent program. This initiative aimed at fostering a healthy, harmonious, and transparent labor relationship within the company, further emphasizing its commitment to meritocracy and diversity in its global talent acquisition strategy.

  • 2002

    TRUKING tapped into the global market with its first export to Indonesia.


  • 2003

    The first phase of TRUKING Industrial Park, covering an area of about 53,300 m², started construction in Ningxiang, Changsha, China. All the employees and the builders worked hard with joint efforts to build a brand-new home.



  • 2004

    The first phase of TRUKING Industrial Park was completed and put into operation, marking TRUKING's transition from humble beginnings to establishing its significant presence. From this day forward, TRUKING continues to rise with the sun, embarking on a path of continuous growth and success.


  • 2005

    The SRD3000 soft bag production line was successfully delivered, marking a milestone for TRUKING. Following this, a series of groundbreaking initiatives, including significant incentive packages for experts and senior blue-collar workers, were introduced. These initiatives, designed to accelerate the development of new products and technologies, have sparked a new era of innovation and enthusiasm among TRUKING's team.


  • 2006

    After seizing the markets in Russia and Vietnam, TRUKING successfully expanded into Bangladesh. The company's international market strategy shifted from an initial stage approach to focusing on priority markets. Since then, TRUKING has been making significant strides in the international arena. To date, it has extended its reach to over 30 countries and regions.



  • 2007

    For the first time, by the first half of 2007, TRUKING received commendation from the local government for its tax contribution exceeding 50 million Chinese yuan. Since its establishment, TRUKING has adhered to two principles: never delay employees’ salaries and never evade taxes. TRUKING has withstood tests in all aspects thanks to its strong business integrity.


  • 2008

    The President, Mr. Tang Yue, was honored with the title of "Hunan's Top Ten Outstanding Economic Figures," elevating TRUKING to the status of an exemplary private enterprise in Hunan province and moving a step closer to Mr. Tang Yue's vision of "establishing an international consortium of science, industry, and trade with lifetime energy."


  • 2009

    Ten industry standards that TRUKING participated in drafting and revising were approved for release and implementation. The second phase of TRUKING Industrial Park, covering an area of 67,000 m², was initiated and completed the following year.


  • 2010

    TRUKING organized and established the State-Accredited Enterprise Technology Center, accelerating cooperation with colleges, universities, and scientific research institutes and introducing technical talents. As a result, innovations have constantly emerged. The company completed the shareholding system reform. TRUKING TECHNOLOGY LIMITED was established and listed, officially initiating the IPO procedures.


  • 2011

    TRUKING was honored with the National May Day Award. Otsuka from Japan conducted a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) jointly with TRUKING for an SRD series non-PVC soft-bag line, symbolizing TRUKING's formal entry into the international high-end market with its SRD series non-PVC soft-bag line.


  • 2012

    After years of studying, practicing, and innovating, TRUKING was honored with the Governor's Quality Award of Hunan Province, again embodying the spirit of "persistence makes excellence." TRUKING's IPO received approval from the CSRC, marking the company's transition to a public entity.


  • 2013

    The third phase of TRUKING Industrial Park, with an estimated investment of 600 million Chinese yuan, commenced and is scheduled to be completed in 2 years, aiming to strategically expand TRUKING. The TRUKING Post-doctoral Scientific Research Workstation was officially inaugurated, and the Technology Shanghai Institute was established, enhancing TRUKING's scientific research capabilities.


  • 2014

    TRUKING was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (Stock Code: 300358). After more than five years of diligent effort, TRUKING successfully entered the fast track of the capital market. The TRUKING Academician Expert Workstation was established, and Academician Gui Weihua from the Chinese Academy of Engineering joined the station. The acquisition of Changchun WATERTOWN commenced just four months after the successful IPO.


  • 2015

    TRUKING implemented the first round of its equity incentive plan, granting 11.4352 million restricted shares to 435 equity incentive participants. TRUKING acquired 100% of the shares of Sichuan Pharmaceutical Design Institute, which accelerated the strategy of "one vertical (one complete product chain in injectables)," "one horizontal (one complete product chain covering main dosage forms)," and "one platform (providing smart pharmaceutical workshops by Industrial 4.0)."


  • 2016

    The first world-class, made-in-China intelligent robot for pharmaceutical aseptic production was successfully rolled off the assembly line, marking an important milestone in the successful integration of product intelligence in TRUKING's intelligent pharmaceutical factory strategy. We launched the "Benchmark HUAWEI. Embrace Change" initiative to promote management and system innovation and adapt to the new internationalization requirements.






  • 2017

    TRUKING has appointed Ms. Luo Jing, one of China's top female mountaineers, as its first spokesperson to integrate the spirit of climbing into the corporate culture. With its controlling shareholder, TRUKING Investment, TRUKING invested more than 1.1 billion Chinese yuan to acquire the world-renowned German pharmaceutical equipment manufacturer, ROMACO Group.



  • 2018

    TRUKING employed the renowned German scientist, an innovative pioneer and technical expert in the global pharmaceutical field, as well as the inventor and founder of pelleting and coating technology, Mr. Herbert Huettlin, as the spokesperson for TRUKING's business and development theme of "innovation." TRUKING was honored with the National Award for Science and Technology Progress of 2017. This achievement broke the technology monopoly, generated significant economic and social benefits, and advanced the scientific and technological progress of the industry.





  • 2019

    The first laboratory of ROMACO Group in China-ROMACO(China) Solids Process Center unveiled in TRUKING. ROMACO officially transfers the production and assembly of some of its equipment to TRUKING.


  • 2020


    Sprinting towards achieving a 10-billion turnover and the ambition of becoming the global leader in the pharmaceutical industry, we initiated the construction of the fourth phase project, which spans an area of 9.5 hectares.
